Turquoise and Cream Vintage Linen Pillow

Turquoise and cream combine to create a lovely vintage dresser scarf that was made into a lovely pillow.

The slightly open weave of the cream-colored linen fabric is the correct color to complement the turquoise cotton fabric at the bottom edges. The turquoise fabric is placed in a stair-step design on the pillow front, and a flat band on the back. A slight open area is situated between the two pieces. You can see on the front where the stair-step area is hand sewn to the main fabric of the towel.

A hand-embroidered flower design is the focal point on the front. The design features a black flat flower basket with a large handle that holds flowers done in orange and beige stitching.

This pillow measures 14 inches by 16 inches and contains a 16-inch square polyester-filled form to achieve a slightly fuller look. The cover is sewn shut and cannot be removed.
