Sphinx Brand Salt Bag Apron Fits Sizes S-M-L

What an unusual bag to be used for this apron! The Sphinx Brand Salt bag was founded in a small Iowa town, but I do not know where this salt company was located. The bag is simplistic in its' design, with only black on the beige colored bag for both the drawing of the Sphinx and the words "Sphinx Brand No. 1 Medium Salt." The words and design are both quite faded. At the bottom of the bag are the words "70 Lbs." which is even more faded (photo six).

The bag is made from a medium weight smooth cotton fabric. There are no holes but there are a few rust spots, as shown in the last photo. The apron is trimmed in black.

The apron waist is 24 inches.
The length is 37 inches.
The bodice is 13 inches.
The ties are 30 inches.
This one-of-a-kind apron best fits women's sizes small, medium or large. Please check measurements to adjust for men's sizing.

Cold water wash and line dry are recommended to prevent fading and shrinking.
To adjust the length, simply place a knot in the neck ties where desired.
