Apron Upcycled From Vintage Seed Store Bag / Apron for Woman Fits Sizes Extra Small to Medium

The bold red and green stripes of a vintage seed sack attracts the eye to this apron.

The fabric design features the vertical stripes surrounding the words "Home, Kansas" (we actually have relatives there). Above the stripes are the words "Roy Lewis" in cursive and "Seed Store" in green, both place at an angle. Below these words and above the stripes there is a picture of a homestead with a house and barn. At the very top of the apron there is a green circle with "60 Lbs." inside, as well as the cat in a barrel logo for the company that made the bag.

The only thing distracting from the design is a large blue spot on the stripes that did not come when out when it was laundered. There is one small place where a hold could develop in the heavyweight cotton bag, but otherwise it is in nice condition. The side seams have been turned under to help prevent fraying. Green trim is used for the neck and waist ties.

The apron waist is 23 inches.
The length is 30 inches. This apron is shorter.
The bodice is 12 1/2 inches.
The ties are 28 inches.
This one-of-a-kind apron best fits sizes extra small, small or medium.
Cold water wash and line dry are recommended to prevent fading and shrinking.
To adjust the length, simply place a knot in the neck ties where desired.

Also, finding some or many seeds or feed pieces caught in the fabric is quite common. The bags have been washed at least once and many seed/feed pieces have already been removed, but some may remain.
