A vintage doily with a cutout design and scalloped edging creates the pocket. White lace goes across both the bodice and the skirt -- narrow on the bodice and both wide and narrow on the skirt. Vintage purple buttons are at the pocket corners; smaller purple buttons are on the bodice lace. Purple trim was chosen for the edging, neck and waist ties.
