Blue and Red Vintage Fabric Girl’s Apron Fits Size 7-8

Many people may have thrown out this fabric because of the marks on it, but the vintage quality begs it to still be used for a sewing project! In this case, that project is a girl's old-fashioned apron.

The navy blue, white and red floral design fabric is very good quality, but as you can see from the photos, there are several white marks apparent in various places. I think this piece of fabric was either the beginning or the end of the fabric run and the coloring just became streaked. Still ... it couldn't go to waste!

The apron features a pocket made from a vintage white cotton doily with a rounded cutout design to mimic the shape of the flowers. White scalloped lace goes across both the apron skirt and the bodice. Navy blue buttons are on the bodice lace and at the pocket corners. The apron is trimmed in navy and ties at both the waist and neckline.

The apron waist is 19 1/2 inches.
The length from the top center to the hemline is 20 1/2 inches.
The waistline ties are 23 inches.
This apron best fits girls' size 7-8.
