Delicate but fun vintage fabric for this apron was purchased from a friend who was moving and trying to de-stash. This old-fashioned apron features Southwest prints of people, burros and flowers. Red, pink, yellow, blue and green are the colors used for the designs.
The pocket is made from a white cotton doily with Battenburg edging. Red rick rack is used across both the bodice and the skirt. Red buttons highlight the pocket top and the bodice rick rack. Red bias tape is used for the edging and the neck and waist ties.
The delicacy of this fabric is emphasized. Extra care is needed for this apron to prevent further damage. You may only want to wear this apron as a hostess and not for regular kitchen work.
The apron waist is 25 inches.
The length is 29 inches from the top center to the hemline.
The ties are each 30 inches.
This apron best fits sizes extra small or small.
