Comforter Top Upcycled Apron Fits Sizes M - L - XL

Sometimes fabrics that don't really seem to go together blend perfectly. That is the case of this apron, which is upcycled from a vintage comforter top.

Strips of floral fabrics were sewn together ready to make a comforter blanket. Instead, the pink and brown fabric piece was placed next to a blue and green fabric. Even purple makes the scene on yet a different print. The found piece was a little long, so a few of the fabric strips became a three-pocket area with buttons marking the divisions at both the top and bottom of the section.

We're not done yet! A bright pink fabric was added as the backing, in a sense making the whole apron reversible, as shown in the last photo. Brown was chosen for the neck and wait ties. To adjust the length, simply make a knot in the neck tie where desired.

The apron bodice is 12 inches.
The waist is 24 1/2 inches.
The length is 33 inches from the top middle of the bodice to the hemline.
The ties are each 29 inches.
