Plus Size Upcycled Vintage Linen Calendar Apron / Plus Size Apron Size 1X-2X-3X

What do you do with vintage linen calendars? I decided to upcycle this one to make an apron! "Happiness Is ..." is the theme of this brightly-colored calendar from 1981. The white background features a boy handing a girl a bouquet of flowers. Trees, other flowers, a butterfly and a cat are all part of the scene in blue, red, green, yellow and orange. The calendar showing all the dates is below the main scene. Royal blue was chosen to finish the apron on all sides of the calendar. Royal blue also was used for the neck and waist ties. Adding to the "folksy" feel of the apron is a vintage lace in blue and off-white.

The apron waist is 35 inches.
The length is 32 inches (from top center of bodice to hemline).
The bodice width is 13 1/2 inches.
The ties are 30 inches.
This apron fits sizes 1X through 3X.
