Embroidered Pillow Set From Vintage Dresser Scarf / Set of 2 Decorator Pillow from Vintage Linens / Upcycled Pillows

This fun set of two pillows is created from a vintage embroidered dresser scarf that was too damaged to use for its' original purpose.

The lovely embroidery features the colors of blue, green, pink, yellow and brown. The main design of the larger pillow features an upturned arc of pretty flowers and vines, completed by a downward arc of brown stitching that seems to be a split stitch. The flowers are created from a detached chain stitch and French knots. Completing the look in the bottom "corners" is a brown stitch in a basket weave design. The embroidery is the same on both sides of the pillow. The curved bottom and side edges are trimmed in a lovely pink crochet. This pillow measures about 14 inches wide by 10 inches tall.

The long pillow is mostly plain white, but does feature a simpler embroidered design on each side of both ends. There is scroll design in brown, and a single blue flower embroidered beside it. This pillow also features the pink edging, and measures about 15 inches long by only 4 inches wide. There is one small stain on one side, as shown in the last photo.

Both pillows are stuffed with new 100 percent polyester filling. They are sewn shut and the covers cannot be removed.
