Sunny Cane Sugar Sack Apron for Women Fits Sizes L - XL - 1X

Blue and yellow combine beautifully in the vintage sugar sack used to create this apron. "Sunny Cane Extra Fine Granulated Sugar" is the name of the product that was in the bag. The words "Sunny Cane" are in cursive, while the rest is printed in all capital letters.

Above this design are the words "100 Lbs. Net" and "20-5 Lb. Bags." Below the design are these words:

Adding to the design are blue lines representing rays of sunshine. There apparently once were yellow suns in the design, but they have now faded - you can barely see the traces of yellow. The entire design is inside a rectangle shape outlined in blue. Outside of the box are there is a letter "T" at the top and "Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." at the bottom. Also at the bottom are these words again: "20 - 5 Lb. Bags" and "Ex. Fine Gran."

Now, you probably think I forgot about the yellow but am just getting to it. On each side of the box are vertical yellow and blue stripes that are quite nice in color. Believe it or not, the color actually is nicer on the reverse side of the apron as shown in photo eight. A different sack was used to create the apron sides. The seams have been turned under to help prevent fraying. There are a few spots on the apron, as shown in the last photo.

The apron waist is 29 inches.
The length is 32 inches.
The bodice is 14 inches.
The ties are 29 inches.
This one-of-a-kind apron best fits sizes large, extra large or 1X.
Cold water wash and line dry are recommended to prevent fading and shrinking.
To adjust the length, simply place a knot in the neck ties where desired.
