Kansas Hardy Alfalfa Seed Sack Apron for Women Fits Sizes XS to M

The vintage sack used to create this apron once held Kansas Hardy Alfalfa Seed. The logo is in red and blue, with yellow also used in the overall design.

The part that reads "Heart of America" shows a map of the United States with the shape of the State of Kansas enlarged in the middle. The state outline features a heart-shape.

The sack is made from a heavier material, and is tightly woven. The side seams were turned under to help prevent fraying (photo eight). No patches were necessary, but there is a spot with loose threads where a hole likely will develop - vintage at its' best, right? There also are some marks on the apron, including a black one at the bottom front and a larger brown stain along one seam, all as shown in the photos.

The apron waist is 24 inches.
The length is 29 inches. This apron is very short.
The bodice is 13 inches.
The ties are 30 inches.
This one-of-a-kind apron best fits sizes extra small, small or medium .
Cold water wash and line dry are recommended to prevent fading and shrinking.
To adjust the length, simply place a knot in the neck ties where desired.

Also, finding some or many seeds or feed pieces caught in the fabric is quite common. The bags have been washed at least once and many seed/feed pieces have already been removed, but some may remain.
