Hardy Adapted Certified Alfalfa Seed Sack Apron for Women Fits Sizes XS -S- M

The contents of the seed sack used to create this apron were simple and direct, accord to the sack design. "Hardy Adapted Certified Alfalfa Seed" reads the front in reverse beige lettering on a blue background design that looks like a tag. Although faded somewhat, the blue is still a nice color, and a similar blue was used to create the neck and waist ties.

The sack is a heavy fabric. There are other letters and numbers below the tag area, but they are quite a faded yellow (photo seven) and I can't quite make them out. There are several stains, including a large rust spot (the sack was machine laundered and dried before construction). There is a patch at the top front (photos eight and nine).

The apron waist is 24 inches.
The length is 29 inches. This apron is short.
The bodice is 13 inches.
The ties are 28 inches.
This one-of-a-kind apron best fits sizes extra small, small or medium.
Cold water wash and line dry are recommended to prevent fading and shrinking.
To adjust the length, simply place a knot in the neck ties where desired.

While the apron is described as accurately as possible, due to the vintage quality there may be age marks not noted specifically. Also, finding some or many seeds or feed pieces caught in the fabric is quite common. The bags have been washed at least once and many seed/feed pieces have already been removed, but some may remain.
