Apron from Vintage Hmong Fabric Fits Sizes M or L

Sorry, this item has sold.

Three pieces of Hmong fabric were used to create this one-of-a-kind apron.

The beautiful fabric features a background in dark and light blues, with areas of different geometric designs, from swirls to diamonds to stripes. Highlighting the fabric are yarns in different colors of yellow, orange and pink. Pockets were created from extra fabric.

The apron hem was left with a fringed edge which was original to the fabric. The other pieces have been seamed together to hide the fraying. Despite the seams, the back of the apron appears to have a solid denim look. While it is not necessarily reversible, you certainly could wear the apron that way. Navy blue was used for the neck and waist ties. To adjust the length, simply place a knot in the neck tie where desired.

The apron waist is 26 inches.
The length is 39 inches from the bodice top center to the hemline; this length is longer than usual so this apron is suitable for someone taller.
The bodice is 13 1/2 inches.
The ties are 28 inches.
This one-of-a-kind apron best fits sizes medium or large.
Cold water wash and line dry are recommended.
