Tunic Apron from Vintage Green Floral and Fish Print Fabric / Charcuterie Apron / Long Cobbler Apron Fits Sizes S, M or L

Sorry, this item has sold.

This is my "fun with fabric" apron! For the past five years I have looked at this vintage fabric wondering what kind of apron to make from it. Inspired by tunic apron patterns from the 1970s, it finally came together.

This apron basically is a very long cobbler apron. The fabric is a beautiful dark green, and the print is in orange, yellow, turquoise and olive green. The main part of the apron features scattered flowers in all of those colors. The bottom portion features what looks like water in dark green, olive green, yellow and orange with turquoise fish "swimming" across in both directions.

Extra border area allowed me to create a three-section pocket area from the fish and water scene, and the smallest amount of leftover fabric was used to make a strip across the bodice. The back of the apron is plain. There are a few natural flaws in the fabric.

Vintage narrow olive green trim was used to edge the apron and for the side ties. Vintage olive green buttons mark the pocket divisions and go across the bodice. This apron is all vintage.

The apron width starts at 13 inches at the bodice and flares slightly to 17 1/2 inches at the hemline.
The length from the shoulder seam to the hem is 41 inches.
The side ties are 21 inches.
This one-of-a-kind apron best fits sizes small, medium or large.
Cold water wash and line dry are recommended to prevent fading and shrinking.
