Green Gingham Upcycled Tablecloth Apron For Women Fits Sizes XL or 1X

A vintage dark green gingham tablecloth was repurposed to create this fun apron. The fabric featured a very unusual hand-embroidered design that almost cannot be seen from a distance.

To accentuate the stitched design, I added vintage rick-rack in the same colors -- purple, yellow, pink and blue -- to both the bodice and the pocket. The bottom embroidery design is a little "heavier" than that on the bodice, so it is more easily seen.

There were two holes in the fabric that needed patched (last photo). The apron neck and waist ties are in dark green. To adjust the length, simply place a knot in the neck tie where desired.

The apron waist is 37 inches.
The length is 32 inches from the bodice top center to the hemline.
The bodice is 13 inches.
The ties are 30 inches.
This one-of-a-kind apron best fits sizes extra large or 1X.
