After a year's break, I will return to the Louisburg Holiday Mart this Saturday, November 9. The event, scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., is at the Louisburg Middle School. The town's high school students help with the event, as they are vying for scholarships that are awarded from proceeds. With 100 vendors, this show is a great place to begin your holiday shopping -- or complete your lists if you are not a procrastinator like me!

The apron shown is one of the girl's pink and purple aprons I made this week. Everyone wants to put their little ones in these colors, and it's hard to keep up with my inventory. Nice pink and purple fabrics are difficult to find, as some of the colors and patterns just are not the right fit for my aprons. For some reason, blue is the most popular color for vintage fabrics, so bear with me as I seek more pink and purple!
